For your desktop computer :

If you see the applet above that says "You have Java installed!" then you most likely have Java properly installed and do not have to take the following steps.
If you do not see the applet above, then you do not have a Java VM installed. To easily get one goto http://java.sun.com and click the Standard Edition button or you can go here for the 1.41v. Java VM. There, you can download the correct VM for your Operating System and install.

For your PPC :

In order to enable Java on your ppc, just download one of the following links and follow the instruction below.
- Connect to your PPC using Active Sync.
- Copy to anywhere device and run.
- When a window pops up, navigate to the directory you want to install. If a another window pops up and request more disk space, continue anyway.
